Overview

Indonesia's Best Ever Destinations explored 5 wonderful locations on the islands of Sumatra, Java, Lombok, Flores, and Sulawesi.

In This Episode

Borobudur temple features an astounding 504 statues of Buddha that are inside the stupas and alcoves as you ascend the levels of the temple. This complex was built using almost 2 million blocks of volcanic rock to create the nine levels! Borobudur really is a world wonders in the human civilization.

Indonesia's Best Ever was a full Jungle Run commission from Discovery Channel Asia. Shot in the middle of the pandemic, Jungle Run and our colleagues at Nusa Film shot this series on the islands of Java (Jogjakarta), Sumatra (Lake Toba), Flores (Manggarai, Komodo National Park), and Sulawesi (Lembeh Strait). Locally produced with all local crew, Indonesia's Best Ever was commissioned by the Indonesian Ministry of Tourism with Discovery Channel Asia.
