Permits for Drone Filming Flights in Indonesia
If you’re planning drone shots for your production in Indonesia, be sure to include all possibly desired flight locations in your film permit application. Based on that, we’ll prepare the flight permits required for commercial filming.
Note a frequent point of confusion around drone permissions: While most consulates now require inclusion of drone registration and pilot license details in a film permit application package, permits for the drone flights can only be issued following approaval of the film permit.
Aside from these requirements, and common safety protocols (e.g., 150m ceiling and 15km exclusion radius around airports), drone permissions within Indonesia remain relatively broad.
